摘要
铁蛋白自噬是细胞内的铁蛋白被核受体辅激活因子4(nuclear receptor coactivator 4,NCOA4)特异性识别后通过自噬体运输至溶酶体中进行降解释放游离Fe^(2+)的过程。铁蛋白自噬通过调节细胞内的铁含量,进而参与细胞生长、增殖、分化、凋亡等多个重要生理过程,因此必须受到严格的调控,以避免在上述生理过程中出现铁稳态失衡。
Ferritinophagy,a selective autophagy,plays an essential role in maintaining cellular iron homeostasis.In the process of ferritinophagy,the nuclear receptor coactivator 4(NCOA4)specifically recognizes intracellular ferritin and transports it into the lysosomes for degradation via autophagosomes.Recent studies show that ferritinophagy is involved in the occurrence and development of cancers.Here we review the concept,process,regulation,and function of ferritinophagy.Research of ferritinophagy provides a bright prospect for targeted cancer therapy.
