The thermal elongation test is an important index to check the crosslinking degree of XLPE.This paper analyzes and verifies the factors that may affect the experimental results,such as the operation steps and methods,test temperature control,time control,measurement mode,etc. in the process of thermal elongation test,refines each detail of the test,and improves the precautions in the detection process of the project,To ensure the accuracy and consistency of the test process and test results.
