On the Moral Rationality and Realistic Basis of Socialist Public Ownership

公有制作为社会主义社会的本质属性与根本制度安排,不仅是基于经济计算的功利考量或诉求某种抽象伦理原则,更有其道德合理性的现实根据。它是人民美好生活、幸福自由的现实基础与根本保证。社会主义公有制是批判和扬弃资产阶级私有制、抽象公有制的产物,是生产资料社会所有制与生活资料个人所有制的有机统一,是人类社会高阶的所有制形态,其道德合理性的现实根据体现在以下几个方面:人类共有自然资源的“天赋事实”是社会主义公有制的道德合理性前提;社会财富来自人民群众劳动的历史事实是社会主义公有制的道德合理性基础;人民自由与根本利益是社会主义公有制道德合理性依据。

As the essential attribute and fundamental institutional arrangement of socialist society,the public ownership is not only based on the utilitarian consideration of economic calculation or the pursuit of some abstract ethical principles,but also rooted on the practical basis of its moral rationality.It is the realistic foundation and fundamental guarantee for people’s good life,happiness and freedom.Socialist public ownership is the product of criticizing and discarding bourgeois private ownership and abstract public ownership.It is the organic unity of social ownership of the means of production and individual ownership of the means of living,and should be ranged as a high-level form of ownership in human society.The moral rationality of socialist public ownership and its realistic basis lies in the following aspects:the "natural fact" of human common natural resources is the premise of the moral rationality of socialist public ownership;the historical fact that social wealth comes from people’s labor is the root of the moral rationality of socialist public ownership;people’s freedom and fundamental interests are the origin of the moral rationality of socialist public ownership.
