In July 2002, Luoyang Municipal Research Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology excavated a batch of tombs of Zhou Dynasties during the construction project of Luoyang Tangcheng Huayuan. These tombs lie to the south of the Bronze Foundry Site of Western Zhou Dynasty(Luoyangdong Railway Station), of which, a small tomb of Western Zhou Dynasty, numbered as C3 M451, has unearthed wares of bronze, pottery, jade, etc. According to the characteristics of the funerary objects, the tomb can be dated to the early stage of mid Western Zhou Dynasty. The form characteristics of the bronze wares and the potteries unearthed from this tomb carry the obvious culture elements of Shang Dynasty, and the inscriptions on the bronze Zun also have the features of Shang culture. It is inferred that this tomb is a tomb of the adherents of Yin Dynasty.
