苏秉琦与西北史前考古

Su Bingqi and Prehistoric Archaeology in Northwest China

中国西北地区史前考古工作距今已有百年的历程,但取得突破则是在“区系类型理论”的指导下完成的。苏秉琦《关于仰韶文化的若干问题》和《关于考古学文化的区系类型问题》都谈及西北史前考古的要点和难点。从1986年起,苏秉琦在兰州召开的“大地湾考古座谈会”以及一系列的相关会议上,持续不断为西北史前考古工作进行了大量的细致规划,为西北地区史前考古做出了重要贡献。

The prehistoric archaeology in Northwest China has been conducted for a hundred years. With the emergence of the important theory of Qu xi lei xing(Regional systems and local cultural series), great breakthrough has been achieved. The two articles “Some problems concerning the YangShao Culture” and “Differentiantion of Archeaological Culture” by Su Bingqi both covered the main points and the difficulties on prehistoric archaeology in Northwest China. Since “The Forum of Dadiwan Site Archaeology” was held in Lanzhou in 1986, a series of relevant meetings have been held successively, where Scholar Su Bingqi put forward a lot of detailed and comprehensive plannings concerning prehistoric archaeology in Northwest China and has made important contributions to prehistoric archaeology in Northwest China.
