The authority of the CPC is the key factor in comprehensively promoting the development of the Party and the state.Resolutely upholding the authority of the Party Central Committee is a consistent and important idea of the classic writers of Marxism,a profound summary of the experience and lessons learned from the century-long history of the CPC,and this idea is deeply rooted in the soil of the excellent Chinese traditional culture.At present,there are some onesided understanding and inappropriate words and deeds on maintaining the authority of the CPC.Based on an in-depth explanation of the logic and contemporary significance of safeguarding the authority of the CPC,this paper emphasizes the need to be clear-headed and firm in belief,and proposes an optimal path for safeguarding the authority of the CPC.
