Egg drop syndrome is a viral disease caused by avian adenovirus infection.In recent years,the disease has become more and more serious in the layer breeding industry,often causing irreversible economic losses to farmers.When laying hens are infected with this virus,especially at the peak of egg production,the clinical manifestation is that the egg production rate gradually decreases and the malformation rate significantly increases.This paper mainly analyzes the epidemiology,clinical symptoms,pathological changes,diagnostic methods and prevention and treatment measures of chicken egg drop syndrome based on the actual incidence cases of a farm,hoping that this study will be helpful to better prevent this disease.
