Process valve,which has large number and complex application scenarios in nuclear chemical engineering,plays an import role in ensuring the safety and sustainable operation of nuclear chemical process.This paper introduces the mainly classification and distribution of process valve in nuclear chemical project,the selection process of process valve is discussed in detail from the aspects of valve operation environment,valve main material,valve category,driving mode,connection form,sealing structure and technical requirements of procurement process.Suggestions and prospects for the standardization of valve design,manufacturing and acceptance process are put forward.
