A Research on Related Issues of Tangdi Temple in Zecheng

商汤作为雨神,其传说以阳城县析城山为中心向四周辐射,遍布晋东南、豫西北,涉及晋豫两省,形成了独有的“成汤祭祀文化圈”。以泽城汤帝庙为例,追溯成汤祈雨的形成与发展,进行创建年代、历代建筑风格和祈雨民俗考述,并综合其价值评估。

The legend of Shang Tang,the god of rain,radiates around from Xicheng Mountain in Yangcheng County.This legend spreads all over the southeast of Shanxi and northwest of Henan,forming a unique“sacrificial culture circle of Cheng Tang”.Taking Tangdi Temple in Zecheng Village as an example,this paper traces the formation and development of Cheng Tang praying for rain,makes a study of its building time,architectural stylesin successive dynasties and folk customs of praying for rain,and comprehensively evaluates its value.
