On the Basic Experience and Future Prospect of the Construction of the Rule of Law Under the Leadership of the CPC in the Past Century

百年来,党领导法治建设历经革命时期、国家建设时期、改革开放时期和新时代。百年来党领导法治建设积累了丰富的经验,这些经验包括:科学的指导思想作为法治建设的引领,提升法治在国家政治生活中的重要地位,正确把握法治建设的方向,有效处理好法治建设中的几个重要关系。在总结百年经验的基础上,对党领导法治建设的未来展望是:以习近平法治思想作为法治建设的根本遵循和指南,进一步完善党对法治建设的全面领导体制、机制和各项制度,法治建设将更加凸显法治的中国特色。

In the past 100 years, the rule of law under the leadership of the CPC has gone through the new democratic revolution period, the socialist construction period, the reform and opening-up period and the new era. In the past 100 years, the CPC has accumulated rich experiences in leading the construction of the rule of law. These experiences include: using scientific theory as a guide for the construction of the rule of law, promoting the important position of the construction of the rule of law in the country’s political life, grasping the correct direction of the construction of the rule of law, and effectively dealing with several important relations in the construction of the rule of law.On the basis of summing up the 100-year experience, this paper looks forward to the future of the rule of law construction under the leadership of the Party: taking Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law as the basic follow-up and guide to the rule of law construction;further improving the party’s overall leadership system, mechanisms and systems for the rule of law;and further highlighting the Chinese characteristics of the rule of law.
