Effect of PP-g-MAH Content on Properties of Recycled Polyethylene/Polypropylene Blends

摘要 选取马来酸酐接枝聚丙烯(PP-g-MAH)作为相容剂,通过熔融共混制备RPE/RPP/PP-g-MAH三元共混物(TB),研究PP-g-MAH含量对TB性能的影响。结果表明:PP-g-MAH的MAH能够与RPP/RPE的—OH发生酯化反应,PP-g-MAH的含量为7%时反应完成。随着PP-g-MAH含量的增加,TB的拉伸强度、缺口冲击强度、断裂伸长率均提高,PP-g-MAH含量在7%时达到最大值,与RPP/RPE相比,分别提高42.62%、62.78%、123.45%。PP-g-MAH含量在7%时,熔体流动速率(MFR)最小。PP-g-MAH含量在0~7%之间时,随着其含量的增加,TB中两相熔融温度的差值(ΔT_(m))不断减小。添加一定量的PP-g-MAH有效改善TB的相容性,宏观上表现为TB力学性能提高。综合分析,合理的PP-g-MAH含量是实现RPE/RPP废旧塑料混合物高值化应用的一种可行途径。 Polypropylene grafted with maleic anhydride(PP-g-MAH) was selected as compatibilizer to prepare RPE/RPP/PP-g-MAH ternary blends(TB). The effect of PP-g-MAH content on the properties of TB was studied. The results show that MAH in PP-g-MAH can react with—OH in RPP/RPE, and the reaction is completed when the content of PP-g-MAH is 7%. With the increasing of PP-g-MAH content, the tensile strength, notched impact strength and elongation at break of TB increase. When PP-g-MAH content is 7%, the mechanical properties reach the maximum. Compared with RPP/RPE,tensile strength, notched impact strength and elongation at break of TB increase by 42.62%, 62.78% and 123.45%,respectively. When the content of PP-g-MAH is 7%, melt flow rate(MFR) is the smallest. When the content of PP-g-MAH is between 0 and 7%, the difference(ΔT_(m)) of two-phase melting temperature in TB decrease with the increasing of PP-g-MAH content. Adding certain amount of PP-g-MAH can effectively improve compatibility of TB. Comprehensive analysis shows that reasonable PP-g-MAH content is a feasible way to realize high value application of RPE/RPP waste plastic blends.
