Poem Expressing Wisdom:The Significance of Buddhist Poetics in Literary History

广义的佛教诗学是指用佛教的智慧去观诗所形成的诗学。如果说“诗言志”是和儒家有着密切关系的核心诗论,“诗缘情”是和道家有密切关联的核心诗论的话,与佛教有密切关系的重要诗论则可以归纳为“诗言智”,这一诗歌观念在释氏群体诗歌实践中表现得尤为明显。

Buddhist Poetics in a broad sense refers to the poetics formed by observing poetry with the wisdom of Buddhism.If "poem expressing ideal" is the core poetics closely related to Confucianism,and "poem origins from emotion" is the core poetics closely related to Taoism,the important poetics closely related to Buddhism can be summarized as "poem expressing wisdom",which is particularly obvious in the poetry practice of Buddhist monks and nuns.
