There are more than 260 poems involving Guan Zhong in Song poetry.By analyzing them from the perspectives of spiritual cultivation and official carrer achievements,it is found that these poems contain unique cultural connotations such as the admiration for Guan Zhong and Bao Shuya’s friendship,the expression of hermitage,and dissatisfaction with the political situation of the dynasty.Meanwhile,they also show poets’concern for the fate of the country and their desire for success.The objective and speculative values contained in these poems provide a new perspective for the correct understanding and objective evaluation of historical figures.
