中国经济思想史研究的历史初心与未来使命

Original Aspiration and Future Mission of History of Chinese Economic Thought

党的十九届六中全会指出,中华优秀传统文化是我们在世界文化激荡中站稳脚跟的根基。中国经济思想史作为一门兴起于近代社会经济大变革时期、致力于经世济国与富强中华的学科,更应为中华民族伟大复兴发挥所长。文章回顾百余年来学界前辈投身中国经济思想史研究的初心及努力发现,每一代学者始终将总结中国经济思想的光辉成就、提供解决现实问题的历史借鉴、挖掘构建中国经济学的理论要素以及推动中国经济思想史走向世界,作为全力肩负的学科使命。未来中国经济思想史研究须在发展方向上紧扣中华民族复兴的伟大愿景,在治学方法上融通古今中外,在研究与探索中践行前述四个维度的历史初心,从而在大有可为的历史机遇期充分发挥学科价值。

As stated by the sixth plenary session of the 19Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC), China’s fine traditional culture is a prominent strength of the nation to gain a firm footing amidst global cultural interaction. History of Chinese economic thought is a discipline committed to national prosperity and strength that arose from social and economic changes in modern times, and thus should play a substantial role in the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This paper reviews the original aspiration and efforts of the academic predecessors who have devoted themselves to the discipline for more than a hundred years, and finds that each generation of scholars have shouldered the disciplinary mission of summarizing the achievements of Chinese economic thought, providing historical reference for solving practical problems, exploring theoretical elements of Chinese economics, and promoting the history of Chinese economic thought to the world. Facing the future, the discipline of history of Chinese economic thought must closely follow the great vision of national rejuvenation, integrate traditional, modern, and foreign research methods, and uphold the original aspiration of the above four dimensions in research, so as to seize the historical opportunities and give full play to its role.
