摘要
通过对两所高职院校的非英语专业高职英语课堂教学观察,借助问卷调查研究课堂学习动机。结果表明:部分学生的英语学习态度较为消极,教师的教学方式、课堂合作与互动以及以往英语学习经历等都能够影响学生的学习动机。激发学生英语学习动机应该补齐高职英语基础知识短板;增加高职英语随堂测试;开展学习动机干预性的教学活动;合理设置高职英语课堂合作学习,完善评价机制。
By means of observation of English classes and questionnaire survey on non English majors in two higher vocational colleges,this study investigates students’classroom learning motivation.The results show that unfavorable affecting factors of higher vocational colleges students’learning motivation include students’negative attitudes,rigid teaching methods,lack of classroom cooperation and interaction,and unsuccessful English learning experience.To stimulate students’English learning motivation,it is necessary to make up for weakness in students’basic English knowledge,increase frequency of classroom tests,employ motivation-intervening teaching activitises,design adequate cooperative learning tasks,and improve the evaluation mechanism.
