摘要
糖尿病是目前全球的主要健康问题之一。糖尿病是一种全身性、慢性低度炎症反应性疾病,以胰岛素抵抗和胰岛β细胞功能异常为特征。核苷酸结合寡聚化结构域样受体蛋白3(NLRP3)炎症小体可以调节各种炎症因子的表达,如白细胞介素(IL)-1β及IL-18等。研究发现,NLRP3炎症小体不仅参与糖尿病的炎症过程,而且在糖尿病并发症的发生发展中发挥重要的作用。本文就NLRP3炎症小体在糖尿病及其并发症中的作用及相关机制予以综述。
Diabetes mellitus is currently one of the major global health problems.It is a chronic low-grade systemic inflammatory response disease characterized by insulin resistance and abnormal isletβ-cell function.The nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasomes can regulate the expressions of various inflammatory factors,such as interleukin(IL)-1βand IL-18.It has been found that NLRP3 inflammasome is not only involved in the inflammatory process of diabetes,but also plays an important role in the development of diabetic complications.This article reviews the role and mechanism of NLRP3 in diabetes and its complications.
