无卤阻燃POE/PP复合材料的研究

摘要 以乙烯-辛烯共聚物/聚丙烯(POE/PP)为基体,加入焦磷酸哌嗪膨胀型阻燃剂FR-1420,制得了无卤阻燃POE/PP复合材料,考察了阻燃剂FR-1420添加量对POE/PP复合材料阻燃性能、力学性能和热性能的影响。结果表明:FR-1420的加入能显著提高POE/PP复合材料的极限氧指数(LOI)和垂直燃烧等级,当FR-1420质量分数达到20%时,POE/PP复合材料LOI升至27.5%,3.2 mm样条的垂直燃烧等级达到V-0级;当FR-1420质量分数增至28%时,POE/PP复合材料LOI升至33.2%,1.6 mm样条的垂直燃烧等级达到V-0级。FR-1420的加入对POE/PP复合材料力学性能的影响不大,随着FR-1420的加入,POE/PP复合材料的拉伸强度、邵氏硬度略微提高,断裂伸长率小幅降低。FR-1420的加入使POE/PP复合材料的初始分解温度降低,最大失重速率变小,700℃质量保留率增加。 Using ethylene-octene copolymer/polypropylene(POE/PP)as matrix and piperazine pyrophosphate intumescent flame retardant FR-1420 as flame retardant,the halogen-free flame retardant POE/PP composite was prepared.Effects of FR-1420 on flame retardant properties,mechanical properties and thermal properties of POE/PP composites were studied.The results show that FR-1420 improves the limiting oxygen index(LOI)and vertical burning test level of POE/PP composite.When the mass fraction of FR-1420 reaches 20%,LOI of POE/PP composite increases to 27.5%,and the 3.2 mm spline reaches to V-0 grade.When the mass fraction of FR-1420 increases to 28%,LOI of POE/PP composite increases to 33.2%,and the 1.6 mm spline reaches to V-0 grade.The addition of FR-1420 has little effect on the mechanical properties of POE/PP composite.With the addition of FR-1420,the tensile strength and Shore hardness of POE/PP composite increase slightly,and the elongation at break is slightly reduced.The addition of FR-1420 reduces the initial decomposition temperature and the maximum weight loss rate of POE/PP composite,increases the mass retention rate at 700℃.
