摘要
本研究采用内容分析法,根据Cortazzi和Jin、牛新生的文化分类框架,对人教版高中英语短视频教材进行定量和定性分析。结果发现:人教版高中英语短视频教材蕴含丰富的文化内容,三类地域文化(目的语文化、母语文化和国际文化)和五类要素文化(物质文化、精神文化、社会文化、行为文化和观念文化)均有涉及且分布较为均衡;三类地域文化中五类要素文化均有分布,其中目的语文化中物质文化占比最大,母语文化中物质文化和精神文化占比较大,国际文化中精神文化占比最大。另外,该套教材文化内容具有真实性、时代性和共现性等特点。建议高中英语教师:充分利用短视频教材,丰富学生的文化知识;灵活处理短视频教材,提高学生的文化意识。
By the method of content analysis,this research analyzed PEP senior high school English short video teaching materials,based on the cultural classification framework of Cortazzi&Jin,and Niu Xinsheng.The research shows that the short video teaching materials contain rich cultural content.The three types of regional cultures and the five types of element cultures are all covered and distributed in a relatively-balanced manner.The five types of element cultures in the three types of regional cultures are all distributed,among which the material culture accounts for the largest proportion in the target language culture,the material culture and spiritual culture in the native language culture,and the spiritual culture in the international culture.Additionally,the cultural content has the characteristics of authenticity,modernity and co-occurrence.Based on the above findings,English teachers in senior high school are suggested to fully and flexibly utilize the materials to enrich students’cultural knowledge and enhance their cultural awareness.
