Comprehensive Evaluation Method for Initial Factor Analysis and Its Application

因子分析综合评价用于静态数据存在一些问题,如,该使用初始因子分析时误用了旋转后的因子分析,导致因子命名不清晰;选取的因子会遗漏变量较多信息;因子命名没有标准,找不到因子与变量的对应关系;没有给出样品的特征等。文章运用初始因子分析综合评价步骤解决了上述问题,并以我国31个省份高校科技创新能力的静态数据为例进行实证,提出了使用初始因子分析的一些注意事项。

There are some problems when factor analysis comprehensive evaluation is applied to static data.For example,when initial factor analysis should be used,rotated factor analysis is misused,resulting in unclear factor naming;the selected fac-tors will omit much information about variables;there is no standard for naming factors,and the corresponding relationship be-tween factors and variables cannot be found;the characteristics of samples are not given,so on and so forth.This paper uses com-prehensive evaluation steps of initial factor analysis to solve the above problems,and also takes the static data of the scientific and technological innovation capabilities of 31 provinces in China as an example to make empirical study,with some considerations for initial factor analysis discussed.
