The main research purpose of this paper is to explore the practical value and specific combination form of traditional lacquer and all kinds of product design under the current social background. By elaborating on the raw material characteristics, economic value and artistic elements contained in lacquer, the value and function of lacquer in the current social development process are clarified. Based on the inheritance of ancient craft, exploration of multi-level market and aesthetic development, the innovative breakthrough path of lacquer is clarified, and the main combination of lacquer and modern product design is proposed.
