Before the epidemic,Service Station Under the Bridge on Wuning Road built by the Suzhou River became a good place for people to relax and enjoy.People exercised, talked, and drank coffee here.At the time of the epidemic, the station became a shelter for courier, attracting much attention. While people were applauding the courier’s willingness and dedication during the crisis,we are more concerned about the inclusiveness of this type of space and the scarcity of public facilities in cities. We had a special online interview with Zhang Bin,the chief architect in Atelier Z+,the designer of Service Station Under the Bridge on Wuning Road to explore the publicity of infrastructure in daily life and how to respond to people’s public life with space.
