Objective:To discuss the effects of intestinal probiotics combined with blue light irradiation in the treatment of neonatal pathological jaundice and changes of immune function before and after treatment.Methods:108 newborns in a hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected and randomly divided into reference group(n=54,blue light therapy) and study group(n=54,blue light therapy and intestinal probiotics). The evaluation of bilirubin indexes, immune function indexes, and adverse reactions was completed according to the changes of total bilirubin, indirect bilirubin, and serum CD4^(+) and CD8^(+) expression levels on admission and after treatment(10 d after treatment) and the incidence of complications such as rash, diarrhea, dehydration, and bronze disease during the treatment. Results:TBiL and IBiL in the study group after treatment were lower than those on admission and lower than those in the reference group, with significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion:Intestinal probiotics combined with blue light therapy can significantly reduce the level of bilirubin in the children, improve their immune function, and will not increase the incidence of adverse reactions, which is safe and effective in neonatal pathological jaundice.
