摘要
卢卡奇在《小说理论》中表达了对古希腊史诗时代思乡式的怀念,同时批判了支离破碎的现代社会。小说作为一种艺术形式是跨越鸿沟,寻求同一性的积极尝试,卢卡奇赋予其重构乌托邦的美学救赎功能。小说应运时代而生,是历史哲学的选择;除此之外小说在艺术形式上还具有一定优越性。现代人尽管无法重回史诗时代,却可以通过小说无限趋近。
In The Theory of the Novel,Lukacs made a homesick nostalgia for the ancient Greek epic era and criticized the fragmented modern society.As an art form,novel was endowed by Lukacs with the function of aesthetic redemption to cross the gap,seek for meaning and reconstruct utopia.The novel was born with the times and was the“modern epic”chosen by historical philosophy.What’s more,the novel is with certain superiority in artistic form.Although modern people cannot return to the epic era,they can approach it infinitely through the form of novel.
