引江济太是太湖流域水环境治理的重要举措,是保障流域水安全的关键措施。自2002年1月30日正式启动以来,经过20年实践,结合流域水资源统一调度和优化配置,引江济太调水理念不断丰富,太湖水生态环境不断改善,流域生活、生产和生态用水得到保障,促进了经济社会可持续发展,取得了显著成效。在当前区域一体化高质量发展背景下,太湖流域引江济太面临新的形势和任务,也面临一系列挑战,需要从供给和需求两个角度出发加强战略预判,利用太湖流域调度协调组这个平台,强化统筹调度、科学调度、智慧调度和依法调度。

Water diversion from the Yangtze River to the Taihu Lake is an significant project to improve water environment and ensure water security in the Taihu Basin.This project was officially started on the 30th of January in2002.After 20 years of operation,combined with the unified scheduling and optimal allocation of water resources in the basin,the concept of this water diversion project has been enriched constantly.The water environment of the Taihu Basin has been continuously improved,which guaranteed the water for living,production and ecological use in the basin,thus promoted the sustainable economic and social development and achieved remarkable effects.Under the background of high-quality regional integration development,water diversion project from the Yangtze River to the Taihu Lake is facing new situation,missions and challenges.Therefore,it is necessary to reinforce the strategic forecasting from both supply and demand perspectives,and consolidate overall,scientific,intelligent,law-based scheduling by using the Taihu Basin scheduling and coordination group platform.
