Summary of clinical experience in the treatment of vascular dementia with“Regulating the mind and dredging the meridians Acupuncture”

全国名老中医张道宗教授从中医学角度,依据脏腑经络理论,分析血管性痴呆病位在脑,多由久病耗损、年高体虚、七情内伤所致髓海不足,神机失用。张老擅以“通督调神,疏通经络”为针刺总则,配合扶正补虚、充髓养脑治其本,豁痰开窍、活血祛瘀治其标,治疗效果显著。旨在为中医学治疗此病提供经验与借鉴。

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine,Professor ZHANG Daozong,a famous Chinese doctor of traditional Chinese medicine,analyzes that vascular dementia is located in the brain,which is mostly caused by chronic diseases,old age and body deficiency,and internal injury of seven emotions.Professor ZHANG is good at"regulating the mind,dredging the meridians"as the general principle of acupuncture,and treats the root causes with strengthening and supplementing deficiency,filling the marrow and nourishing the brain,and relieves symptoms with phlegm clearing,promoting blood circulation and removing stasis,of which the treatment effect is remarkable.This paper aims to provide experience and reference for traditional Chinese medicine treatment of this disease.
