This article mainly introduces the experience of Director WANG Guiling in treating intractable facial paralysis by the He’s San tong therapy(贺氏三通法).Director WANG Guiling believes that the pathogenesis of this disease is based on the deficiency of healthy Qi(气)and the combination of phlegm and blood stasis.Based on the syndrome differentiation of meridians and collaterals,combined with viscera syndrome differentiation and eight extraordinary meridians,the identification of disease location was emphasized so as to regulate the Qi and blood of internal organs of the whole body,strengthen the body resistance by eliminating pathogenic factors.
