The waterproofing effect of utility tunnel is affected by many factors.Mastering the waterproofing design scheme and construction technical essentials of the underground utility tunnel is an important guarantee for the smooth implementation of the project.Based on Changdong Road utility tunnel project in South Taihu New Area,which is an integrated part of Yangtze River Delta region,this paper analyzes the key control points of the waterproofing quality of the underground utility tunnel,including waterproofing layer construction,and waterproofing treatment process for details such as construction joints,deformation joints,through wall pipes etc.
