Qian Zhixiang was the famous leader of French overseas Chinese and served as the chief secretary of Li Shizeng,who was the initiator of the Work-Study Movement in France.Though his identity shared great significance,it was quite uncommon of him to be rarely documented and studied.This article mainly focuses on the textual research on Qian Zhixiang’s family background,reviewing his life experience,and supplementing the data in the academic field of Work-Study Movement and the history of overseas Chinese in France,which is valuable for primitive historical materials.
