摘要
批判性思维作为核心素养之一,应成为中小学英语课堂的重要组成部分。批判性思维涵盖的10种思维要素,可划分为4种知识类型和3个培养阶段。在教学内容上,中小学英语课堂可以基于不同阶段学生的认知能力和学习目标展开设计。在教学实施上,批判性思维课堂的设计,可分别根据上述4种知识类型,按照3个培养阶段开展批判性思维的进阶式教学、练习、评价等活动。以小学高年级的英语课堂批判性思维活动设计为例,研究证明,这种基于进阶式批判性思维训练的课堂设计,有助于提高英语课堂教学的质量。
As one of the core competences,critical thinking ability should be an important part of English classes in primary and secondary schools.Critical thinking includes ten elements,which can be divided into four types of knowledge and three stages of training correspondingly.In terms of teaching content,English classes in primary and secondary schools can be designed based on the actual cognitive ability and learning objectives of adolescents at different stages.As for teaching implementation,according to the above four types of knowledge and three training stages,critical thinking can be developed via teaching,practicing and evaluating activities hierarchically.The design of critical thinking activities in English classes for senior primary school students may show that the hierarchically designed critical thinking training can help to improve the teaching quality of English class.
