摘要
美国占据世界符号学研究版图的重要位置,组织创办了国际符号学研究协会(IASS)及其会刊《符号学》(Semiotica),聚集了众多的研究机构和世界知名学者,为现代符号学学科发展和制度化建设做出了贡献。梳理和阐释美国符号学思想史一方面可帮助我们认识符号学研究内容的复杂性和学科交叉性,另一方面也有助于我们理解人的本质构成与生存状态,在全球符号学框架下思考人类在不断加剧的世界性危机中的符号学方案。
The United States occupies an important position in the world’s semiotic research territory, leading the establishment of the International Association of Semiotic Studies(IASS) and its journal Semiotica, gathering many research institutions and world-renowned scholars, and making outstanding contributions to the development and institutionalization of modern semiotics. On the one hand, combing and grasping the ideological history of semiotics studies in American can help us understand the complexity and interdisciplinary nature of semiotics research;on the other hand, it can also help us understand the essence and living state of human beings, and think about the semiotic scheme of human beings in the intensifying global crisis under the framework of global semiotics.
