This paper introduces in detail the dilemma faced by parents of special children when they participating the transition from kindergarten to primary school in the United States.Through the existing research and analysis,it is known that the dilemma faced by parents of special children in China is similar to that faced by the United States,mainly in the following aspects:parents’professional support needs are not met,and parents'participation guarantee system is not established.Based on the successful experience of the United States in dealing with the dilemma of parents’participation in the transition from kindergarten to primary school,we can get rid of the dilemma by changing ideas,building a perfect support system,setting up a roving guidance group and carrying out parent training.
