概念隐喻视角下英汉“三牛精神”新闻语篇中“牛”隐喻个案研究

A Case Study of“Cattle”Metaphor in English and Chinese“Three Cattle Spirit”News Discourses from the Perspective of Conceptual Metaphors

隐喻是人们用某一较为熟知的具体的领域的概念去理解和表达另一个陌生抽象领域概念的语言现象,多用于认知研究。基于此,运用概念隐喻理论,选取英语和汉语“三牛精神”新闻报道进行个案研究。通过分析英汉“三牛精神”新闻语篇中“牛”的隐喻,探索“牛”在“三牛精神”新闻语篇中产生的隐喻义,并基于此分析动物隐喻在新闻报道中的隐喻特点,旨在更深刻地理解语言表达和认知之间的关系。

Metaphor is a linguistic phenomenon in which people use a well-known and specific concept to understand and express another unfamiliar abstract concept.It is mostly used in cognitive research.Based on this,using conceptual metaphor theory,English and Chinese“Three Cattle Spirit”news reports are selected for case study.By analyzing the metaphor of“cattle”in English and Chinese“Three Cattle Spirit”news discourse,explore the metaphorical meaning of“ox”in“Three Cattle Spirit”news discourse,and analyze the metaphorical characteristics of animal metaphors in news reports based on this,aiming at a deeper understanding of the relationship between language expression and cognition.
