Probiotics,with the function of improving immunity,resisting disease and bacteria,can improve the performance and survival rate of aquatic animals,promote the utilization rate of nutrition and benefit the water environment.It shows advantages of environment friendly,no toxicity and no drug resistance and tends to be beneficial for aquaculture.This paper mainly describes some common types of probiotics,the application methods and effects in aquaculture,in order to provide some basis for the application of probiotics in aquaculture.
