智库期刊价值呈现的SWOT分析——以《今日科苑》为例

SWOT Analysis of the Value Presentation of Think Tank Journals——Taking Modern Science as an Example

[目的/意义]本文旨在回答“普通智库期刊如何践行智库使命”的问题,并在践行“多层次的学术交流平台和成果转化渠道”的使命面前,提出智库期刊价值呈现的有效路径,以期更好地支撑我国特色新型智库建设。[方法/过程]本文以SWOT模型作为分析工具,阐释了我国科技期刊建设进程中智库期刊面临的机遇与挑战,并以《今日科苑》为例,分析了智库期刊的优势和短板。[结果/结论]作为智库期刊,《今日科苑》的优势体现在资源高效整合、目标定位明确、选题聚焦以及传播渠道多元等四个方面,短板体现在期刊影响力有待提升及高水平稿件不足等方面。在建设世界一流科技期刊的背景下,智库期刊具体的价值体现在提供探索路径、中和学科偏向、减轻“马太效应”以及促进形成期刊界的良好生态等方面。

[Purpose/significance]This paper aims to answer the question of“how ordinary think tank journals practice the mission of think tanks”,and puts forward an effective path for the value presentation of think tank journals in the face of the mission of“practicing multi-level academic exchange platforms and achievement transformation channels”,in order to better support the construction of new types of think tank with Chinese characteristics.[Method/process]This paper uses the SWOT model as an analysis tool to explain the opportunities and challenges faced by think tank journals in the process of the construction of science and technology journals in China,and analyzes the advantages and shortcomings of think tank journals using Modern Science as an example.[Result/conclusion]The results show that as a think tank journal,the advantages of Modern Science are reflected in the four aspects of efficient integration of resources,clear target positioning,focus on topic selection,and diversified communication channels.The shortcomings are reflected in the fact that the influence needs to be improved and high-quality manuscripts are not enough.Under the background of building world-class scientific and technological journals,the specific value of think tank journals is reflected in providing exploration paths,neutralizing subject bias,reducing the“Matthew effect”and promoting the formation of a good ecology in the journal community.
