Teachers of ideological and political theory in higher education institutions bear the important task of shaping soul,life,and new people.The Communist Party of China’s exploration of the construction of ideological and political theory courses in higher education institutions has experienced continuous development,from initial exploration to connecting the past and the future,and then to reform innovation and all-round development.It has formed valuable construction experience,that is,adhering to the Party’s leadership as the fundamental guarantee,the combination of problem orientation and goal orientation as the starting point,the combination of teachers’morality and ability as the focus,the combination of increment and quality improvement as the key point,and the combination of strict management and incentive care as the anchor?point.Under the historical orientation of the new era,the construction of ideological and political theory teachers in higher education institutions should be based on the orientation of the times,focus on core literacy,strengthen discipline support and improve system construction,so as to promote the stable and sustainable development of ideological and political theory teachers in higher education institutions.
