新发展格局下我国出口产品质量提升研究——基于中间品进口与产品出口传导机制的视角

Research on the Quality improvement of China’s export products under the new development paradigm——Based on the perspective of transmission mechanism of intermediate goods import and product export

产品质量是企业竞争力的核心体现,新发展格局下进口高质量中间品是提升我国产品质量的有效途径之一。本文研究我国中间品进口对出口产品质量的影响,结果显示:中间品进口规模以及进口中间品与本国自产中间品的技术差距同出口产品质量之间都呈倒U型特征。分样本检验结果显示:来源于发达国家的中间品,其技术差距与出口产品质量负相关;来源于发展中国家的中间品,其技术差距与出口产品质量正相关。进行稳健性检验以及处理了可能存在的内生性问题后,结论依然成立。据此,提出要持续优化进口产品结构、加强自主创新、加大研发投入力度、加强对外交流与合作等政策建议。

Product quality is the core embodiment of enterprise competitiveness.Under the new development pattern,importing high-quality intermediate products is one of the effective ways to improve product quality in China.This paper studies the impact of China’s intermediate products import on the quality of export products.The results show that the import scale of intermediate products and the technological gap between imported intermediate products and domestic intermediate products and the quality of export products are inverted U-shaped.The results of sub-sample test show that the technology gap of intermediate products from developed countries is negatively correlated with the quality of export products.The technology gap of intermediate products from developing countries is positively correlated with the quality of exported products.The results persisted after robustness tests and treatment of possible endogeneity problems.Therefore,this paper puts some policy suggestions,such as continuously optimizing the structure of imported products,strengthening independent in-novation,increasing investment in r&d,and strengthening foreign communication and cooperation.
