习近平总书记主持的中央政治局2021年专题民主生活会,是他第8次主持召开的中央政治局民主生活会,这次会议取得两大方面的成果。一是高度评价十八大以来党和国家事业取得历史性成就、发生历史性巨变,最根本的原因在于有习近平总书记作为党中央核心、全党的核心掌舵领航,在于有习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的科学指引。二是习近平总书记总结党史学习教育,对加强党的建设和加强中央政治局自身建设提出新要求:中央政治局的同志要自觉践行初心使命,要带头坚定理想信念,要带头维护党中央权威和集中统一领导,要带头执行中央的决策部署。中央政治局民主生活会有政治站位高、批评查摆准、思想内涵深和规定要求严的特点。

The 2021 special democratic life meeting of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee is the eighth one that was presided over by General Secretary Xi Jinping. The meeting made the two main achievements: firstly, it concluded that the great historic accomplishments that China had achieved since the 18th CPC National Congress mainly lay in upholding Xi Jinping’s position as the core of the CPC Central Committee and the whole party, in the guidance of Xi Jinping’s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era;secondly, Xi summarized the Party history learning and education and put forward a new requirement in the Party building and self-construction of the CPC Central Committee that the comrades of the CPC Central Committee should remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly, set an example in standing firm in support of our ideals and principles, in asserting authority of the CPC Central Committee and the centralized and unified leadership of the Party, and in carrying out decisions and arrangements made by the Central Committee. The democratic life meeting of the CPC Central Committee is characterized by the high political position, sharp criticism, profound ideological implication, and strict requirement.
