The spirit of the Jin merchants represents the spiritual wealth accumulated by the merchants of Shanxi and an organic integration of the traditions of the nation,regional cultures and the spirits of the time.Therefore,it is an important resource of the ideological and political education of middle school students.The values and moral qualities of the Jin merchants are helpful for the foundation of the moral education of middle school students,the enrichment of the contents of ideological and political education,the innovation of the methods of ideological and political education and the improvement of ideological and political education environment.The paths to integrate the spirit of Jin merchants into the ideological and political education of middle school students include carrying out classroom teaching,organizing campus cultural activities,holding social practices and utilizing network media propaganda.
