摘要
学生思辨能力的培养是高等教育的根本任务之一,也是大学英语教学目标必不可少的一部分。基于文秋芳的思辨层级模型,本文以医学英语教学为例,建立以思辨能力培养为倾向的专门用途英语教学模型,将教学目标分成语言、技能、思辨能力三大教学目标,提出记忆、理解、扩展、应用、评价和反思六个子任务来实现教学目标。通过本课题研究,期望为大学生专门用途英语的综合能力提升寻求有效手段,为未来的医学英语及专门用途英语教学提供参考与借鉴。
The cultivation of students’ critical thinking abilities is one of the fundamental tasks of higher education and is also an essential part of College English teaching goals.Based on Wen Qiufang’s critical thinking hierarchy model,this paper takes medical English teaching as an example,establishes an ESP teaching mode with the tendency of cultivating the critical thinking ability,divides the teaching objectives into three teaching objectives:language,skills,and critical thinking ability,and puts forward six sub-tasks:memory,understanding,expansion,application,evaluation,and reflection to achieve the teaching objectives.The purpose of this research is to seek effective means for improving college students’ comprehensive abilities of ESP and to provide references for future medical English and ESP teaching.
