The shape evolution of Mamian skirt can be seen from the shape of ancient Chinese clothing.Throughout the rise and fall of the development of the Chinese nation,the development and decline of Mamian skirt are closely related to it.From the rudiments of the Song Dynasty to the prevailing mainstream of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the Mamian skirt silently records the national culture since the Song Dynasty and is one of the most iconic traditional clothing of the Han Nationality.Starting from the historical and cultural background,this paper investigates the shape evolution of Mamian skirt by consulting literature and historical materials,and tries to find out the correlation between the background information of the dynasties and the shape characteristics of Mamian skirt.The analysis of shape evolution of the Mamian skirt can help readers think about how Mamian skirt is inherited in history and feel the influence of the rise and fall of the dynasties on Mamian skirt style.
