辽宁新宾县太子城山城考古调查简报

Brief Report on the Survey of the Hill-Top City at Taizicheng in Xinbin County,Liaoning

为进一步明确太子城的保存现状,2019年,辽宁省文物考古研究院等对其重新进行了调查,并使用无人机进行了航测,明确该城城墙和城内设施均为石筑,周长约1446米,城内以隔墙划分为内外城。城内遗迹包括城门2处、隔墙2段、马面3处、角台2处、瞭望台3处及台基式建筑1处,外城墙采用模形石错缝垒砌,墙芯以梭形石和碎石与外墙模形石相咬合。隔墙外墙以长方形石块错缝垒砌,折角处使用方整石,墙芯以规格较小且加工较为简易的块石和石板错缝坐砌,内墙以扁平的石板错缝垒砌。内城门形制为交错篇门,且在门一侧设置马面使门道呈L形。采集遗物包括以夹粗砂陶片为代表的战国至汉代土著文化遗物,以莲花纹瓦当、桥状耳陶片等为代表的高句丽时期遗物,以及瓷片和砌筑墩台的灰砖等明代遗物。太子城山城沿用时间较长,战国至汉代的土著居民在此生活,公元3~4世纪高句丽在此建城,经过多次修给,一直沿用至高句丽晚期。明代曾利用高句丽时期瞭望台稍加修筑作为边墙内的墩台。

In order to further assess the state of the Taizicheng site,a survey with drone was conducted by Liaoning Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology et al.in 2019.It confirmed that the city wall with a perimeter of 1446 meters and facilities inside the city were all built from stone.Inner and outer cities are divided bywalls inside the city,which include various features comprised of 2 city gates,2 sections of dividing walls,3 buttresses,2 corner towers,3 watch towers and 1 platform-founded architectures.The outer facade of city wall is comprised of stacked layers of wedge-shaped stones,while the core shuttle-shaped stones that are interlocked with the former.Similar sophisticated stone masonry techniques are also found on the dividing walls.The inner city gate isa barbican in layout with a buttress on one side running perpendicularly to the main wall,enclosing a L-shaped area.Collected artifacts range from aboriginal culture remains represented by coarse-tempered pottery sherds dating from the Warring States through Han Dynasty,Goguryeo remains represented by rooftile ends with lotus motifs and pottery with bridge-shaped handles,as well as Ming Dynasty remains represented by porcelains and grey bricks The hill-top city at Taizicheng was occupied fora long time period by the aboriginals dating from the Warring States through Han Dynasty.The city was first built by the Goguryeo during 3-4th century AD and was in use until the late Goguryeo.Later,the Goguryeo period watch towers were modified into terrace platforms during the Ming Dynasty.
