在我国马克思主义传播史上,由柯柏年、艾思奇和景林等人翻译的《马恩通信选集》是中国共产党组织编译的首部马克思和恩格斯书信集。在此之前,马克思和恩格斯书信在中国是以散篇的形式见诸杂志、报刊和著作中,其整体的价值和意义还不被人们所知。通过对《马恩通信选集》译本的编译出版时间、过程和主体的梳理,以及对编译底本、所用语种和编排结构问题分析,可以看出这部马克思和恩格斯书信集具有的重要历史价值和理论意义。

In the history of the spread of Marxism in China,The Selected Works of Marx and Engles’Correspondence translated by Ke Bainian,Ai Siqi and Jing Lin,is the first collection of Marx and Engels’letters organized and compiled by the Communist Party of China.Before this,Marx and Engels’letters were published in magazines,newspapers and books as fragmented form in China,and their overall value and significance were not known to people.By sorting out the compilation and publication time,process and main body of Chinese translation of The Selected Works of Marx and Engles’Correspondence,as well as analysising the compilation base,the language used and the layout structure,it can be seen that the collection of Marx and Engels’letters has important historical value and theoretical significance.
