加的夫语法视角下的现代汉语致使义动结式研究

A Study of Chinese Causative Verb-Result Constructions from the Perspective of Cardiff Grammar

本研究从系统功能语言学加的夫语法视角探究现代汉语致使义动结式,旨在揭示其语义、句法特征及句法实现机制。本文先在过程融合视角下提出致使复合过程概念,认为此类过程包括致事和役事两个参与者角色,再根据致使动词与役事间的支配与非支配关系,将致使复合过程分为整体融合和部分融合两种情形,认为每种情形下的致使动结式都有各自的内部语义特点。通过分析致使概念语义层内部施受关系提升为致使关系的整合过程和语义层的形式投射过程,本文同时阐明了不同致使动结式的句法实现机制。

From the perspective of Cardiff Grammar, a model of Systemic Functional Linguistics,this paper explores Chinese causative verb-result constructions in order to reveal their semantic and syntactic features and their syntactic realization mechanism. Firstly, the concept of causative complex process is proposed with the Causer and Causee as participant roles from the angle of process integration. Secondly, such causative complex processes are divided into totally-integrated and partially-integrated ones in line with the dominant and non-dominant relationships between causative verbs and their corresponding Causees, and the semantic and syntactic description of these processes is contended to reveal the internal semantic relations of the causative constructions. This paper also clarifies the syntactic realization mechanism of different causative constructions by analyzing the integrated process of the agent-recipient relation raised to the causative relation at the semantic stratum and the process of semantic stratum’s formal projection.
