岳石文化动物遗存初论

Preliminary Study on the Animal Remains of Yueshi Culture

考古记录显示,岳石文化先民所利用的动物资源呈现出多样化态势:既有家畜,亦有野生种属。家养动物有猪、狗、羊、牛等,野生动物以陆生哺乳类为主,水生类、飞禽类为辅。这些动物既是人们食物结构的重要组成,也在先民聚落生活中扮演着其他角色。虽然可据现有资料得出一些初步认识,但开展过动物考古工作的岳石文化遗址为数偏少,同位素、DNA等科技考古工作尚未进行,一定程度上限制了对相关问题进行更加深入的认识。随着考古发掘与研究的继续,岳石文化动物遗存及其利用状况将更加清晰。

The archaeological record shows the animal resources used by the ancestors of Yueshi Culture include both domestic animals and wild species.Domestic animals included pigs,dogs,sheep,cattle,while wild animals were mainly terrestrial mammals,aquatic species,birds and so on.These animals were not only an important part of people’s food structure,but also played other roles in the settlement life of the ancestors.Although there are some preliminary findings,only a few Yueshi cultural sites have carried out zooarchaeological work,and scientific and technological archaeological work such as isotopes and DNA has not been conducted.With the continuation of archaeological excavation and research,the remains and utilization of Yueshi Cultural animals will become clearer.
