Thai rice operations have been occupying an important position in its agriculture since its origin.Thai people have gradually mastered knowledge of phenology and calendars in long-term rice cultivation practices. They continuously improved agricultural tools and actively used animal power to increase agricultural productivity. As a result, the agricultural production organization changed from primitive extensive agriculture to feudal collective labor. In this process, the common memory formed through joint labor and the unified narrative of the gods became one of the elements of Thai community.
