摘要
目的首次检测贵州本地杨木和灯台木刨花的物理特性及动物的适应性和安全性,为将这两种刨花开发用作实验动物垫料提供基础实验数据。方法以市场常用的北方杨木和桦木刨花作为对照,对包括贵州本地杨木和灯台木刨花在内的4种刨花进行吸水性能实验、干燥性实验、升温实验、降温实验、对小鼠的急性毒性实验和适应性实验。结果北方杨木刨花的吸水性最好,贵州本地杨木刨花和灯台木刨花次之,桦木刨花最差,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。急性毒性实验表明,4种刨花对小鼠均无毒性表现;在干燥性实验、升温实验、降温实验和小鼠体质量变化中,4种刨花之间的差异无统计学意义。动物适应性实验表明,小鼠更偏好于贵州本地杨木刨花和桦木刨花,该两组与北方杨木刨花和灯台木刨花组比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论贵州本地杨木和灯台木刨花均无毒性作用,均可用作实验动物垫料,贵州本地杨木刨花的动物适应性最好,表明其具有更好的开发价值。
Objective To provide basic experimental data for the development and utilization of Guizhou local poplar and cornus controversa shavings as the bedding materials of laboratory animal by detecting the physical characteristics,animal adaptability and safety.Methods With the northern poplar and birch shavings as the control group and Guizhou local poplar and cornus controversa shavings as the experimental group,water absorption experiment,drying experiment,heating experiment,cooling experiment,as well as the experiments of acute toxicity and adaptability to mice were conducted on these shavings.Results The water absorption of northern poplar shaving was the best,followed by Guizhou local poplar shaving and cornus controversa shaving,while birch shaving was the worst.The acute toxicity test showed that the four kinds of shavings had no toxicity to mice.There were no significant differences among the four kinds of shavings in drying experiment,heating experiment,cooling experiment and body weight change of mice.The animal adaptation experiment indicated that mice preferred to Guizhou local poplar shaving and birch shaving compared with the northern poplar shaving and cornus controversa shaving groups.Conclusion Both Guizhou local poplar and cornus controversa shavings presents non-toxic effects and therefore could be used as bedding materials for experimental animals.The animal adaptability of Guizhou local poplar shaving is the best,indicating that it holds better development value.
