摘要
目前基于PC机及普通网卡实现的EtherCAT协议栈单元多数都存在体积大功耗高的缺点,而基于嵌入式平台实现的EtherCAT协议栈虽然体积和功耗上具有优势,但是性能不够稳定.针对这一问题,本文提出一种基于FPGA SoC的EtherCAT协议栈实现方式,通过在Xilinx的Zynq平台上构建具有实时性的操作系统,同时在FPGA上配置专用网络适配单元及安全功能单元,实现EtherCAT协议栈在嵌入式平台上的高效运行.与基于PC实现和传统嵌入式平台上实现方式相对比,在功耗体积和稳定性上均有提高,具有较高的实用价值.
At present,most of the EtherCAT protocol stack units based on PC and common network card have the disadvantages of large volume and high power consumption,while the EtherCAT protocol stack based on embedded platform has advantages in volume and power consumption,but its performance is not stable enough.In view of this problem,this paper proposes an implementation of EtherCAT protocol stack based on FPGA SOC.By building a real-time operating system on the Zynq platform of Xilinx,and configuring a dedicated network adapter unit and security function unit on FPGA,the EtherCAT protocol stack can run efficiently on the embedded platform.Compared with the implementation based on PC and traditional embedded platform,it has higher power consumption,volume and stability,and has higher practical value.
