后疫情时代英国公立中小学教育复苏之困

摘要 新冠肺炎疫情的爆发给英国教育系统带来了巨大的挑战,其中公立中小学受到的冲击尤为明显。在疫情蔓延的影响下,英国公立中小学教育面临了许多挑战,如学生学习成绩下降、身心状态欠佳,选择家庭教育的家长数量增加,教师难以提高远程教学水平,学校无法有效地调整课程内容等。面对以上挑战,英国政府通过投入大量资金、推广国家辅导计划、促进教职员工专业发展等路径推动教育复苏;与此同时,英国公立中小学先以多种评估确定学生差距,再以课程调整减小学生差距,最后以额外辅导提升教育质量。在多方面努力下,英国公立中小学教育复苏确实取得了一定的进展,但仍然存在学生缺勤率持续偏高、学校之间差距较大、课外活动尚未恢复等难以解决的问题。 The outbreak of the Covid-19 has brought great challenges to the British edu-cation system,among which state-funded schools have been particularly affected.Under the spread of the epidemic,the education of state-funded schools in the UK faced many challen-ges,such as the decline of students’academic performance and poor physical and mental sta-tus;the increasing number of parents who choose home education;teachers difficult impro-ving the level of distance teaching;schools hardly adjusting curriculum.In the face of those challenges,the British government promotes the recovery of education by investing a lot of money,implementing the National Tutoring Programme,and promoting the professional de-velopment of staff.At the same time,state-funded schools first use various assessments to determine the gap among students,then adjust the curriculum to reduce the gap,and finally improve education with additional tutoring.With the efforts,the education recovery of state-funded schools has indeed made some progress,but there are still some problems,such as the persistently high absenteeism rate,the large gap among schools,and the unrecovered ex-tracurricular activities.
