近现代报刊对外国翻译概貌及翻译理论的引介

Introduction to Foreign Translation Overviews and of Translation Theories into China Around the 1900s by Newspapers and Periodicals

清末民初,西学东渐大潮涌起,紧随西方自然科学、社会科学、人文科学等领域知识的翻译引进,外国翻译概貌和翻译理论也开始受到译界重视。而在清末民初的翻译活动中,报刊具有十分重要的媒介作用,诸多外国翻译概况和翻译理论就是通过报刊引入国内的。这一方面为清末民初的西学翻译提供了外来参照范本,另一方面也为中国近现代翻译理论的建构搭建了理论平台,对于规范翻译活动、构建翻译伦理、形成中国特色的翻译理论具有重要的作用。

At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,the translation of Western works in natural sciences,social sciences and the humanities into Chinese was increasing,while Chinese translators started to pay attention to foreign translation theories through newspapers and periodicals.Newspapers and periodicals built a theoretical platform for the construction of modern Chinese translation theory.They played an important role in regulating translation activities,establishing translation ethics and developing translation theory.
