应重视新冠肺炎疫情下医学检验专业实习生的生物安全管理

Attaches importance to the biosafety management of medical laboratory interns during the COVID-19 epidemic

在应对新冠肺炎疫情中,临床实验室发挥了重要作用。实验室人员每天接触可能具有生物危险性的血液、尿液、粪便等多种样本。医学检验专业实习生进入实习岗位时,缺乏生物安全知识,对职业暴露的应急处理能力有限。实习阶段所接触的待检样本可能携带病原体,有潜在发生生物安全事故的风险。因此,在新冠肺炎疫情下,应高度重视医学检验专业实习生的生物安全管理,建立系统的、完整的生物安全教学培训和考核机制,加强实习生应急处理问题能力,提升对职业暴露危害的敏感性,帮助实习生识别各种类型的生物风险,采取有针对性的生物安全防护措施,最终实现从实习生向医生的角色转变。

The clinical laboratories play an important role in fighting against COVID-19 epidemic,and the medical laboratory staffs contact with a large number of samples with potential biological risks,such as blood,urine,feces and other unknown samples.When the medical laboratory students begin their internship positions,they have limited emergency handling ability for occupational exposure because of lacking biosafety knowledge.The samples to be tested during the internship may carry pathogens,and there is a potential risk of biosafety accidents.During COVID-19epidemic,it should attach great importance to the biosafety management of medical laboratory interns,establish a systemic,comprehensive biosafety training and examination mechanism,strengthen their emergency ability to deal with the problem,improve their sensitivity to occupational exposure hazards,and help the trainees to identify various types of biological risk,take targeted biosafety protection measures,finally realize the role transition from intern to doctor.
